Hello Everyone!

My name is Abhishek and I thank you all for joining us here on this beautiful evening/afternoon.

First of all, we would like to apologize. We are having our welcome programme almost a year later, but we all know how complicated the Covid times were. But as said, all that happens, happens for good.

Finally, we are here and joyfully celebrating our presence in this land of Eastern Regional Campus. You all have spent almost a year of your engineering journey here. And by now, most of you are familiar with the system of how things work around here. Some may be reassuring and some may have disappointed you.

Yet there are some of the exciting things about this place which you might have experienced and might have missed. But don’t worry, we will be experiencing all of it together.

Now. We are not so at the top of the chain in our field. Yet, we are doing our best to do the best we can. You see, they may see us as just another engineering college, but some of the renowned faces out there in the world, leading so many frontiers, are ERC alumni. So, It just all depends on our will to excel and achieve and even we are to be the next leaders.

Now, in the beginning, it may seem like having a backlog is a huge stop sign and it may let down your confidence. But let me tell you the truth about it. From the start, we have practised having just two or three major subjects. And remaining are the similar and easy ones, like Social, English, Nepali and a bunch of others.
So our brains are wired to handle and tolerate that much. But in engineering, each subject we have in our course, they are a major and carries equal importance in terms of marks, study hours and efforts. And sometimes, due to this, our brains can’t cope with all that prominent information all at once. And we fail there. But it’s just about standing back again and hitting harder and not just giving up.

So no matter what the time may bring, the situation we have to go through, or the backlog, all you have to do is give the best you have to offer and see yourself at the top.

So finally, be proud that every effort you did in life, every study choice you made, and every night and day you studied, has finally brought you into engineering, which is one of the most prominent fields on the planet. And we are the ones who are going to run the digital world.

So just smile and enjoy this journey of ups, down and young feelings of friendship, love and so much more. And from the entire BCT family, we happily welcome all of you to your engineering journey here with us in ERC.

This is Abhishek Shah. Signing out. Thank you very much!

See you soon, Again :)
